This Trainning was conducted by UVIKIUTA and took place in the Quarry rehabilitation area where our Biodiversity Museum is also situated. It was with a diversity group of participants from Tanzania portal Cement TPC, the safety department, civil department and also participants from the National Army barracks (radar controllers, nurses etc) residing in the Quarry. We took this opportunity to raise public awareness about the QLA, Biodiversity and shared our experience about our ongoing project and welcomed them to visit.
We had a final round of discussion with our audience on their perspective on quarries and what more there is to it that just the vast quarrying works done. It was a healthy discussion with great outputs, now documented in our research.
Once again we give a big shoutout to our stakeholders for their continued collaboration and support.
